Resident Information on Hudson’s Community Boards and Committees

The city of Hudson has numerous boards and committees. Residents volunteer for the unpaid positions, and are appointed by Council. These residents spend hours fulfilling duties that include reviewing building and zoning laws, architectural details, sustainability opportunities and city park use.

To assist residents, below is a list of boards and commissions that meet on a regular basis, including links to their agendas, minutes and videos.

Comprehensive Plan Review Committee

The City’s Comprehensive Plan is a document, directed by residents and local stakeholders, that guides the community’s vision for the future. The Plan details a long-term vision and policy agenda for important issues in land use, housing, parks, infrastructure, transportation, and more. The Hudson City Charter requires a review and update of the Comprehensive Plan at least once every 10 years. The committee has been reviewing results of surveys sent to Hudson homes as well as those filled out online. It is organizing focus groups and is planning an open house and community workshop.  It meets the first Wednesday of each month. Below is a link to the committee website.
