About Clocktower Collaborative

We have a simple mission:

We are a 501c4 nonprofit established solely for two purposes:

  • To promote a civil, non-partisan Hudson.
  • To engage more residents in the democratic process by getting them to the polls to vote.

We are non-partisan and holistic, meaning we care about every election – from ballot issues and initiatives to school board and city council elections.  It all matters.

Civil, Non-Partisan Hudson

Hudson has a long legacy of intentional nonpartisanship – a legacy we honor and want to get back to.  When it comes to local issues, we strive for open dialogue that seeks commonality and compromise toward a better Hudson. Party politics have no role in community decisions about issues such as roads, parks and infrastructure. Local issues require us – each of us – to be nonpartisan in local elections. Like you, we love this community. Politics must not divide us.

Engage Residents – Get Out the Vote

A thriving community requires active and informed participation from residents.  With less than 30% of residents voting in our most important elections, we must do better. We strive to educate and engage voters on issues and opportunities, so that they feel more informed, engaged and confident to vote.  A thriving Hudson requires active and informed participation from every resident. We envision a Hudson where people come together and vote with a common purpose – the betterment of Hudson.

About Voter Engagement

  • Less than 30% of residents voted in key elections over the past four years, with some elections yielding less than 28% participation.
  • We understand that people are busy – but what is more important than helping to shape the community where you live and raise your family?
  • Everyone’s voice should matter in local governance – this is where we live.
  • That’s why our “Get Out the Vote” message will be holistic – for all elections and issues – not just candidate elections. We will promote voting for school board elections, school levies, and special elections, with a constant focus on education that helps engage all.
  • We are a standing organization for the long run, promoting our message over multiple years and multiple elections.
  • We intentionally are not a PAC – and will not be donating any dollars to specific candidates.
  • We hope to build a foundation for fundraising to build on this advocacy and support issues of concern for the community.
